A Noble Mission
Over 25 years ago, a fellow named Don Shoendorfer was traveling in Morocco and witnessed a sight that inspired him to make a difference in the world. To bear witness to the sight of a crippled Moroccan woman dragging herself across a dirty road in the middle of town proved too much for him. Her image haunted him for many years to come, until he decided to put his education to use for those less fortunate. He has undertaken a task of great importance, which has the potential to change lives. In 1999, Don established the Free Wheelchair Mission as a non-profit organization and set to work giving mobility and dignity back to disabled people in developing countries. With his PhD in Mechanical Engineering and an absolute heart of gold, Don has achieved what so many well intentioned organizations strive for. He has given thousands of people the renewed opportunity to live and experience life. And with that, he has given them hope for the future. The initial challenge facing Don was that of developing a wheelchair that was safe and functional, but also relatively inexpensive. He set about doing research and development and, over time, came up with a design that has virtually eliminated the cost burden generally associated with wheelchairs and wheelchair production. The Free Wheelchair Mission has developed a wheelchair that sells for approximately $50.00 USF, which includes the costs of manufacturing, shipping, and distribution. The second major challenge facing Don and his organization was the ability to provide these low cost wheelchairs to disabled persons in developing countries at no cost. To overcome this challenge, they have established partnerships with a number of charitable organizations. To date, they have provided wheelchairs free of cost to over 70,000 people in 46 countries. Their mission is to provide 20 million wheelchairs by the year 2010. This is a noble mission, indeed. The Free Wheelchair Mission has generated a lot of positive press for their amazing work, and they were recently acknowledged by the American President, George W. Bush, for the wonderful work they are doing. If only there were more people like Don Shoendorfer

What is Love?

last night when i was thing about new topic for my blog that question come in my mind that what is love.
some people goes very deep in thoughts to express that and some thinks that love is useless and timeless.somehow what is love.in various books we have read about love that love is blind, love is life and too many other statements but what is the meaning of Iove in Islam.
there are 3 types of love
1.love with your parents, sisters, brothers and other relations.
2.love with your girlfriend
3.love with Allah and his Prophet Hazrat Muhammad(PBUH)
some are just loving only one of those and some to both.
so what you think about love is that the wastage of time.give your comments now.
Smile & the world smiles with you ….!
Smile now!
A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.
I was wondering previous night … how a smile can make a difference. I, for one, have found it helpful all my life. Making bad face dims your inner self … while a smile, a mere smile, can beam up your day …!
If we go a step further, our deen - e Islam considers smile equivalent to charity … !
These are not mere words … start experiencing it from today … a smile makes a change. As someone said, a genuine smile is an index of your happiness. So, put in a little more joy in your smile - Reach out to others and give a little more of yourself when you smile next time and the next.
You know why we usually love kids around … because their smile is genuine … life reflects from the smile
I just loved this very cutie … my friend was sitting with me and she said now thats your childhood … so I liked it even more
I was reading a very interesting anecdote the other day … thought to share it ….
Several years ago I was in a San Diego restaurant with my mother. While I paid the check, we both noticed an elderly woman waiting to be seated. As we left the restaurant, Mom asked, “Did you notice that woman with the wonderful smile?” I most certainly did. Her smile lit up the room. It was a smile to die for; one that would certainly win instant friends. It was a smile that you don’t often see in a stranger. And maybe Mom and I smiled back, I don’t remember. Mom later commented, “I wish I’d told her what a terrific smile she had.” But neither of us had. We’d both received a gift without saying thank-you.
Later, on my long drive home, I stopped at a fast-food restaurant for a quick bite. A 70ish woman waited by the condiment bar while her husband ordered. She glanced my way and smiled brightly. It was one of those smiles that broadcast, “I love life!”
I wasn’t going to let THIS opportunity pass. I was going to say SOMETHING. As I approached this woman from 30 feet away, her smile melted into a rather startled look; as if asking, “Did I do something wrong?” I walked over to her and simply said, “You have a wonderful smile!” Wow, did her face light up! And she responded with an enthusiastic, “Thank You”. My comment probably made her day, but it also made MY day. We truly exchanged gifts that afternoon.
So are you willing to make someone’s day or may be your own day today??
I found this interesting picture in Flickr … stating … Smile - You’re not alone ….!

some people thinks that it was not a right idea by the Government. In this operation
lot of students died.on sunday night lal masjid clerk Abdul Rasheed Ghazi Admits
that their are terrorists in mosque and his confession has been recorded by the governmet.
Was that politics or?
The big question is some innocent peoples arrested by police some of those have been left out. but where are the other students?
In the name of islam the Ghazi Brothers have been done to much.they have kidnapped some chinese girls, police officers and video center owners. You think it was right idea by the Ghazi Brothers.
